Eskom Brackenfell Rooftop Solar Installation

The installation for the Eskom Brackenfell facility is equipped with a fully integrated 200kW rooftop solar power system designed to improve energy efficiency and support sustainable operations. The installation comprises the following key components:

• 400 solar panels collectively generating up to 200 kW of power.
• Inverters and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) for efficient energy conversion and seamless power transitions

The 200kW generation capacity is distributed evenly across four rooftop sections located on two main buildings, includes battery storage systems and changeover breakers for safe switching between generated solar power and supplied grid power.

This configuration ensures optimised energy delivery, resilience, and balanced load distribution across the facility, supporting Eskom Brackenfell’s operational efficiency and sustainability goals.
